Happy New Year!
I went to the lock-in at church and had a lot of fun. Played dodgeball--adults vs teens, my team, the adults, won nearly every time. We also played volleyball for a while. Played a few card games like Spoons and BS. Foosball, Pool, hacky-sack, Sim-City--a really old version. . . Good times.

This totally sucks. . . I was supposed to watch LotR: The Two Towers today with Allen & Co. at 12:30, but lucky me overslept until 2:45. Ghaa! Dang me.

I just returned from another gaming adventure at Central Presbeterian with Allen and Co. This time we played two new games (new to me anyways): Flux--a really cool card game where the rules constantly change by playing cards, hence the name "Flux"; and some game that involves attacking other planets and the goal is to get 5 colonies on planets that are not your own. I thought the Flux game was a lot more neato than the other.

Well, I had an interesting last couple days. On Sunday night, Jake and I went to watch The Hot Chick--pretty funny stuff. Then came to my place and we played Age of Kings all night--I think I won the most times, usually due to some strange bit of luck that he had just sent his entire army to destroy me and had left his home town unprotected, so after hiding elsewhere, I destroy him while he's having fun tearing down my original village. Works every time. (maybe not). We played a little bit more on Monday afternoon after enjoying a meal at BK (actually he had already eaten) after which he decided he would squeeze the Zesty Onion Ring sauce that happend to have a cut on top. It turned slightly toward him before giving way and squirting Zesty Onion Ring sauce all over his nice Army jacket. That was quite amusing.
On Christmas eve I went shopping with my brother, James, since he hadn't had time before now. We ate lunch at Taco Bell, and my worst nightmare was being proven. No freakin' Dr Pepper. What the heck is up with that? First all the Pizza Huts in town, now all the Taco Bells. At least Burger King still got it. Anyway, we went to a few stores--Sears, the mall, Best Buy, and Wal-Mart. He bought some stuff and ended up spending all his money, but he gets paid tomorrow (Friday). After that we went back to my sister's place and he wrapped most of the presents, then we went to church for the candle light service. It had started snowing and was pretty slick. The service was pretty good--sang songs and a short Christmas message, and lighting the candles.
I took James back over to Marie's and they were back from visiting Tim's parents, then we played some PS2 and watched Ice Age. At or around 2am, I thought I would attempt heading home for Christmas. Got in the van and tried backing up. No luck. James came out and pushed some. I moved some, but realized this was one long driveway I was not making it out tonight, so I managed to park it in front of the garage and go back inside.
Christmas Day: played some PS2, watched Tim shovel his driveway, loaded stuff into the van, drove home with M & T behind me; the roads were in good shape. Sat, talked for a few; I'm the annual present dispenser, though most presents are labeless, I take cues from the others which presents to give to who. Dad got some clothes and handkerchiefs, a mini-RC car from James, and a Sony CliƩ PDA from me and Mom. Mom got a digital camera from Dad, Beauty and the Beast DVD from me and James, and some other boring stuff. James got some PS2 games he wanted and a Lord of the Rings ring from me, and clothes, of course. Marie got, um, hmm, I think it was all boring stuff--I got her a book case. Tim got some stuff and I got him a 16pc Speed-Loc drill set. Baby Samuel got clothes and a little Poo bear.
I got: Back to the Future Trilogy DVDs--good stuff; Star Wars: Episode II DVD--now I need IV-VI and the first; Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 for GBA; a 128MB USB drive--pretty cool, and better than those stinkin' floppies; $5 from Grandma Ohmie; and two pairs of jeans that I picked out today.
We then ate supper and had ham, stuffing, greenbean cassarole, and cookies. After all that, we watched Episode II on my Laptop (we don't have a real DVD player yet), and went to sleep (well, Marie and Tim (and Samuel) went back to their place first.)
Today (Thursday), me, James, and Mom went to Marie's for a bit before heading to Noblesville so Brenden's parents could take them (him and James) the rest of the way to Cincinnati. We came back, had some pizza, and I watched Ice Age again and Mom & Dad saw it for the first. Now it is now.

I played some ShadowRun tonight (Saturday) with Allen, Brian, and Steve. I got 4 more karma points and 9000 New Yen. This game is sort of interesting. It's a role playing type game where you go and complete various tasks with the other players and the game manager controlls everything, in a sense. Jake called tonight right after I left to visit with Allen & Company, but after returning home I gave him a call and he was at Chris' watching a movie with him and Ben. We plan on doing something tomorrow after church.

I'm not sure what to get Mom, she said she wanted a mattress, but that is kind of expensive for me, and Dad got her a _______ _____. I might get her a ______ ____ to go along with this though. The names of these items have been hidden to protect the innocent.
