I still haven't done any Christmas shopping. I worked today (wednesday) 10 - 4:30. It sucked. Not the working part but the not working part. It's like, clean a lab for 20 min sit and play on computer for an hour. Go to lunch. Clean lab for 30 min sit and play on computer for an hour. Go to break room. Watch people talk about nothing for 15 min. Get assigned to inventory paper/toner cartridges in Physics. Do this for an hour. Clock out. Go home. Sure, I got 6 hours worth of pay, but man was it boring. I would have rather stayed home and done nothing and not gotten paid for it.

My GBC sold for $33. Less than I had hoped but better than letting it sit around here. I sent it off today. Lots of people at the post office sending out gifts and such.

Last night, me and Dad put up the Christmas tree. As you can see, we have yet to decorate it. I'm thinking of maybe doing some of that today.

Doopa-doopa doo. I'm really bored right now.

So, anyway, I went to church this evening and the teens had their annual Christmas drama (of which I was the star for four years running before some unexpected occurance of graduation came upon me, I've never been able to join with them since. But this winter they're going skiing, and as long as it's not on Drill weekend, you can bet I'll be there) and lo and behold I saw none other than one of the folks I went to basic training with (well, maybe I did see some other people). He'll be going to Ball State next year, and I don't know if he is going to be coming to the church regularly, but while he's here, he'll be drilling in the National Guard unit here. It's a shame I didn't get to know him better at basic; he was in a different platoon, you see, but the same company. He went off to Ft. Watachooka (I have no idea how to spell that) for AIT for being a 96B; amazingly that's the same as Jake (who is still there, but hopefully comes home during his Christmas break.)

It's 5:30 in the morning, did I wake up early or stay up late? You decide. But after looking around some, I have found this really weird and mildly amusing site: explodingdog.com. It seems that this fellow draws stick people pertaining to different titles that inspire him, I guess. You can even buy a book of his stuff. Some of the drawings are funny, yet many I don't undstand, but all are strange.

From looking at the CS180 page, it seems that I got an 84% on the final--not bad, and I get an 'A' for the class so long as I get above 67% on Project 8.

Selling my Game Boy Color. I have no need for it since I have an Advance.

I got done with my last final today around 2:20, 40 min before the end. It really wasn't that bad: 5 questions, covered recursion, abstract classes & inheritance, linked lists, and simple problem solving. As far as I know, I should have gotten everything correct, I wouldn't be suprised if I made a couple stupid mistakes or something, but expect no less than 90%. No more classes until Jan 13, 03! No more work, either = no more money. But, I do have plenty in savings, but still, I like to see the total increasing instead of decreasing.

I turned in my old ROTC stuff. I found Allen at work and waited for him to get off. We went to Arby's for lunch and then looked around some in the discount den. The supply sergeant made us wait about fifteen minutes since he was in a meeting even though he said to come at 1400. I've been looking a little bit more at php and I think I might try to implement this site in it later this afternoon. It indeed seems like something that would work better than having cgi scripts in iframes since it has the html and the scripting done all in one file, I can just put the part to read the file and print the stuff where the iframe is now, that way it would be full length and not a scrollable frame--the same goes for the little chat box thing.

Took the French final this morning--wasn't bad at all. I forgot the future form of voir though, but I did remember quite a few culture things. Out of 8 we had to do 5 and I'm sure I got 4 right and maybe a fifth. I need to call over to the armory and see if I can turn in my stuff this morning. I was hoping I could find Allen and have him drive over to the van and then back to his special parking spot so I don't have to carry the stuff so far, but alas, he is nowhere to be found.

I've been looking a little at php for doing stuff like displaying the page since it looks a little more geared to html, then maybe I can get rid of those iframes, for some reason, they just bother me.
