I had my drill this past week-end. No going to Camp Adurbury (I am sure that is not correctly spelled). I guess there was some troops there getting ready to ship off, so instead of qualifying, we cleaned and re-organized and inventoried the storage cages. Next month everything will be packed up in preperation for AT, which is in two months. After AT, all the stuff will be thrown back into the cages in a very unorganized manner in hopes of getting home. Two months before AT next year, we'll be organizing, cleaning, and inventorying the cages once agian for the cycle to continue.

I ended up getting the VIA KT400 mobo and the Xabre 400 video card, but to my amazement and unending frustration, they did not work together. So, back to the old mobo with the SIS730 chipset, surely a SIS vid card and a SIS mobo would be compatable. And they were . . . for about an hour worth of GTA3. And then freeze, restart, the freakin' thing don't want to work. Hours of reconnecting and uninstalling and reinstalling and no luck. So, SIS has a new chipset, featuring 8x agp 3.0. I buy, recieve today. Guess what? The freakin thing works now. So now I have an extra KT400 mobo that's been going on e-bay for about at much as I paid for it, my old mobo, the 1.3ghz Duron, and 512mb worth of pc133 SDRAM. Soon on eBay they will be.

For my birthday, my Mom decided to get cable internet. The Insight guys will be here Thurday evening to hook everything up. Holy sweetness. My Dad bought a wireless router so we wouldn't have to run ethernet cable everywhere, so now I'm getting me a USB 802.11b wireless adapter. Good stuff.

Saw Old School on Saturday night. Pretty good, very funny. I got the results on the CS182 test yesterday. I got 35/50 which is better than I thought I was going to get and well above the average for the class of 22.

I've been visiting www.RentACoder.com lately in the attemp of getting a small job going. You know, mostly doing assignments for for people too lazy or stupid to do it themselves and willing to pay somebody else. So far I haven't got any jobs, mostly because I'm new or something, I don't know.

Well, I gotta go feed the cats and then head to school so I'm not late for French.

Oh, yeah, I turned 19 yesterday. Happy Birthday to me!

And the results are in, 85 is exactly what I got on my CS240 exam. Later this week I will be taking my Econ251 exam on Thur night and CS182 exam on friday.

My sis is having more probs with win XP, this time after doing all the updates, it hangs on the Welcome screen, but the old install was still intact, so that will suffice until I visit tomorrow with my trusty installation CD in order to repair windows.

I sold all my stuff I had for auction. After every one pays me, I should have made around $120 -- not a bad deal and it covers that Athlon XP 2200+ I bought for $93. But now I have the Duron 1.3 gig I can sell, and I'm still thinking about getting a motherboard that supports DDR memory. I'm not exactly sure how much difference there is between the Double Data Rate and the normal, but I suspect there would be some, and also thinking of getting a better video card. I've been looking at the Xabre 400 with a SIS chipset as it is cheap and seems to as well as or better than the Radeon 9000 in some benchmarking tests I've seen.

Other than that I've just been busy with school, FR quiz and a CS exam on Thur. After seeing the answers to the exam, it seems that I will end up with a score around 85.

I went to Jordans birthday gathering today and there were several of his dorm buddies. It was fun I guess, we watched TV for a couple hours + food + watching him open presents (mostly candy) and a newspaper that had most of its headlines changed to include Jordan in some way, ie "Bomb blast kills dozens; Blame Jordan" and stuff like that. After this I went to Cental Pres and played ShadowRun with Allen and Co. This time Brian did the GMing and his sister came as well. I personnaly thought it was kind of boring, but I guess its better than staying home.

Wow. An amazing week of spring break. Not really, but I did get to go to Kokomo with Allen and Brian and watch him buy a pocket knive at the scout store. Ok, so that was boring too.

I got a some of my old computer stuff on eBay. Not real old stuff, but I got an 800 and 650 mhz AMD Athlon processor and the motherboards for both and I also got this stupid thing I bought that I thought it was something else. Selling just the way the guy sold it to me. It's in the description, just kind-of "What the crap is he talking about 'No Card'?" Well, it don't come with the freakin' RayLink PCMCIA card it needs, and if I would have gone to Raylink's website prior to buying, i would have seen exactly what I was getting. I'm also selling some old gameboy games I don't like/never play anymore..

LOOK AT WHAT I'M SELLING

I got XP installed on my sister's computer--she enjoy's it greatly, but she wanted it installed as a second OS rather than just getting rid of 98, now she wants 98 gone and XP to be the only one. Bah! And since XP is on a different partition, she wants it on the C drive, so I'll have to get rid of both then reinstall XP

I had not to work tonight. There was a power outage in the Math building (where all the servers are) and it took them about all day to get things running again. I got to MA G100 around 7:00p and was told that all labs were closed until further notice because they still hadn't got everything running yet. Now I'm ready for a week of fun . . . or at least a week with no school.

The phantom Allen Bol strikes again posting strange and unintelligible phrases in the chatter box. For the whole story, look [right].

Tomorrow is the last day of school before spring break. And all the campus said, "Amen."

I got my Math test from last Friday back on Wednesday. 79, then + 4 cuz he made a mistake, so a nice 83 -- one point better than last test.
