Today was the first day of the rest of my life. Ok, so here's a run down of my classes so far:

Phil 110 - Intro to Philos Sophia (that's greek for philosophy)
This seems as though it will be quite an interesting class, but will require more reading than most classes I take. It will also take more writing than most classes I require... yeah... you can understand if you try hard enough. The prof is definately one to try and make you think, instead of just taking his word for everything.

CS352 - Compilers
I haven't really been to this class yet, but I can tell you that I'll probably learn some stuff here. We're working in Java, which I hate Java solely for its lack of speed. It is so freaking slow since the byte code has to be translated into machine code at runtime. But that aside, I forsee mucho worko, and lots 'o programming.

CS251 - Data Structures
Actually having gone to this class, I will tell you that I'm am going to be totally bored during the lecture. The programming and labs might be good, but I've already got a good share of doodles down the left-hand side of the first page of notes. I once thought about taking my old notebook pages and scanning in my doodles just for the hell of it. They're not that pleasent to look at, but they do exist. And if they exist, then they are true. My philosophy teacher told me so.

OLS 274 - Applied Leadership
PSY 120 - Intro to Psychology
Haven't been there yet, not sure what to expect. But for my OLS class, I had to purchase this remote, almost like one for a TV, but it's only got 8 buttons, and each button corresponds to each of the first eight letters of the alphabet. It says I have to register it online, but I think I need to go to class first and get some special code.

Now, I am at work. I've already answered the phone about as many times as I did all summer, and I think I might have been able to actually help one person. No, wait, that call didn't transfer correctly. Oh, well, I guess they would have called back if they really wanted help.

School starts tomorrow. 'Tis good, but is also bad. Less time wasted wishing for things better to do. More time spent doing things I wish I needn't do. Add in the complications from the Army, and we have a nice fun filled semester planned. This week, Thur-Sat, I will be in Minneapolis, MN, for my soldier readiness program. And then, at the end of the semester, from Nov 20 - Dec 18 is our annual training which cuts off the last three weeks of classes. Ain't it grand?

Oh well, at least I won't be working too much. 7:30p - 2:30a Monday and Wednesday. Fourteen hours per week. The best part: it's all taken care of in two days.

I have to go to Dannyville tomorrow and Wednesday to make up for this months drill. Ugh. And I have to pay $150 for a C Garage permit this week. Ugh. And then school starts next week. Ugh again. I've spent almost this whole summer, and all I got was this lousy t-shirt.

After Purdue's three days of moving servers, my website has returned. I have not taken up reading, but I did buy Futurama seasons 1 through 3, and the first and second volume of Red vs Blue. Those ought to keep me busy for a while, or at least until school starts. Bleh. Only one week of summer vacation left, and I have to go to Danville both Monday and Wednesday that week. Such is life.

Hmm... I should take up reading or something. With a lack of people on the internet that I want to talk to very often. Let me rephrase. The people I want to talk to aren't on the internet very often, or they just don't use chat clients when they are. So the internet keeps on getting more and more boring with every passing second. And there are lots of books out there that I have not read. Just about all of them, except for the few that I read for school. My old friend (acquantance?) Joe Jones suggested to me the Illuminatus Trilogy back my junior year in high school. I think its some sort of conspiracy theory book. You know, we really never did land on the moon... And then there's all the classic books like Fahrenheight 451 and 1984 (I think that one's about me being born, either that or communism). In any which way, I need to expand my horizons, broaden my vertices, and other express suchions.

I have the neatest idea for your website joey! 1. You could make a mailing list, so that everytime you update it would get mailed to everybody like me, and jordan, and conrad.
2. You could make an update section sort of like homestar's such as: last update 8-9-04 and it flash up different screens like: weekly joey stuff, quote of the week and/or month, new allen e-mail. Ah the dreams I have for this website.
08.09.04 09:46
Joey, you've gone and changed your slow links, again. And you thought I would not notice, have slow have you become?

I believe I have the answer to who has been looking at Joey's website through an iPAC at Best Buys. Since I know that Steve never goes here, and that Bryan always forgets the address, and I know it was not me. A thought has come to my mind of who would do so a treachous and devious act. Just ask yourself, who else would have an interest in an iPAC and knows Joey's website, besides Jordan? The answer my friends is one Russell Conard, oooooo I said his name, now i'm in trouble ZING!
08.04.04 10:29
Holy cow! We have not even been to Best Buys since Joey left, well I guess I was there to look at a router but I did not do anything else, I swear
