I'm done with finals, will be doing Army Reserve stuff today, Sat, & Sun, and I start working at Arxan on Monday. Then, on Tuesday, I get to find out how I did in all my classes, which two I already know I got an A, the other two are dependent on how well I did on the final.

The Wii did come in the mail today. I got it set up and played some Tennis, several games of Bowling, and a 3 hole game of golf before having to return to school.

To celebrate my internship, I bought myself a Wii off of eBay. It was used, but came with

All together, if I were to buy all of this new, it would cost approximately $525, but I got it on eBay for only $400.

Internship search update:
The Interns for Indiana matches are done. I have been paired with Arxan Technologies in West Lafayette for a summer internship.

Other Internship related news that doesn't matter any more:

• I was contacted by the CEO of Medical Decision Modeling, Inc last Tuesday, and I was able to talk with him briefly on Wednesday. This was an IfI participating company.
• I heard back from CTI Group on Friday who wanted me to come to Indy for a second interview, but since the IfI matches are binding, I won't be doing that.
• Today, I got an email from the CEO of Vyante saying he would be on campus next Thursday & Friday and wanted to schedule an interview with me.

I should be starting my internship with Arxan on or around May 7, right after a nice four day Army Reserve weekend.

Today I had an interview with Arxan which is located in Purdue's Research Park. It seemed to go pretty well, and I was the last of the four interviewees to leave. According to the sign out sheet, one left an hour and fifteen minutes before me. There was a hacker aptitude test, since most of what Arxan does relates to software security, and one of the best ways to test security is to try and crack it yourself. Other than that, not much of anything else happened.

The Interns for Indiana Job Fair was canceled due to lack of company interest. Today's interview was my first IfI interview, and there is only until the 13th before IfI interviews are over, so hopefully I'll be hearing from some more companies in the near future.

I had a brief telephone interview with Baker Hill this afternoon. And, after talking to Steve, I found out that his brother Charles works for Baker Hill. It wasn't much of an interview, I think they just wanted to talk to me for a few minutes to see if they want to do a more complete interview later. I was told that I should find out in the next several days if I'll be having another interview with them.

I received a request for my transcript from Baker Hill (who makes software for banks & credit unions) about an hour ago, so I might be getting another interview soon. Though considering how the Interns for Indiana program works, if I get an offer from any of the participating companies which match a list I provide of acceptable host companies, then the offer is automatically accepted for me, and the date for that is only about 2-3 weeks away.
